Firenze: Festa di Santa Reparata

Firenze coat of arms: the Florentine lily leads the way
Today is the feast of Santa Reparata, and I went in centro to watch the procession that takes places every year on this date. The banner shown is of the Florentine lily, which is different from the usual fleur-de-lis symbol, as the stamens are always posed between the petals. This change enables the Florentine lily to be distinguished from the conventional design.

I wrote a post about it last year, so won't repeat that information. Instead, here's a video of today's procession, and a link to last year's post with the details of the event.
